Built in 1920, this Mediterranean Deco Revival building sits in the heart of the bustling Southwest neighborhood of Detroit at the cross streets of Vernor + W Grand Blvd. Original remaining features such as the plasterwork, vibrant assortment of tiling throughout and the grand lobby entrance drove the concept. The palette of warm colors, textures, and fixtures throughout embody the mediterranean aesthetic roots of the Barbara.
